Staff Selection Commission (SSC) North Eastern Region (NER) has issued a
notification for the recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant, Junior
Scientific Assistant vacancies in concerned centres. Eligible candidates
may send their applications on or before 20-10-2014. For more details

Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should not exceed 30 years as on closing date for receipt of
applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Masters Degree in Chemistry or Agricultural
Chemistry or Soil Science from a recognized university, experience in
relevant field for Sr.No:1 Post, Degree in Science with Chemistry,
Physics & Mathematics or Chemistry, Botany & Zoology, 2 years
experience in relevant field for Sr.No:2 Post.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test, skill test,
interview, computer proficiency test, document verification.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs.50/- through CRFS (Central Recruitment Fee
Stamp) These stamps are available at all departmental Post Offices of
the country. These stamps may be pasted on the application form in the
space provided for the purpose. Women, PH, SC, ST & Ex-servicemen
candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible
candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along
with attested copies of CRFS, one recent passport size photograph, 2
self addressed envelopes of 12 cm X 25 cm size, one of which should be
affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.6/-, caste certificate,
qualification certificates/ mark sheets, age proof duly attested by the
Gazetted officer, experience certificate etc & other relevant
documents on or before 20-10-2014 by 5:00 PM to The Regional Director,
Staff Selection Commission(NER),Housefed Complex, West End Building,
Beltola Basistha Road, Dispur, Guwahati-781006. The documents containing
envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ———-
ADVERTISED VIDE CATEGORY NO ————— OF ADVT.NO.NER ——”.
